Happy 4th of July and Daddy's Birthday

We got to ride in papa's firetruck for the fourth of July parade.

独立記念日のパレードに参加する為、おじいちゃんの消防車に乗せてもらったんだ。

Here was my view for the hour parade.

これは、消防車の中からの私達の眺め。

One of my responsibilities was to throw candy to other kids, I thought I am a kid I will just eat it myself.

私の役割分担の１つとして、キャンディーを子ども達に投げることだったんだけど、私自身まだ子どもだし、投げる代わりに自分で食べることを思いついたんだ。

I am opening up another piece of candy.

また別のキャンディーを開けている最中。

Eating yet another piece of candy and switched seats also.

席替えして、気分転換にまたまた別のキャンディーを食べている所。

そして、これはきちんと役割分担を果たした？って証拠の写真。

There was so many seats that I couldn't pick just one.

消防車の中は座る所がたくさんあって、同じ所にはじっと出来なかったのよね。

I am shooting daddy with a nerf gun.

おもちゃの鉄砲でお父さんを目掛けて撃っている所。

This day was also daddy's birthday. Since he turned 30 mommy surprised him with a new grill.

この日はお父さんの誕生日でもあったんだ。三十路を迎えたお父さんの為に、お母さんは新しいグリルをサプライズでプレゼントしたんだ。

He couldn't believe it at first.

なかなか信じきれないお父さん。

Funny story, daddy was grilling some burgers on another grill right next to it and didn't even notice. Daddy has never been a details person.

おかしい話、皆のお昼を用意する為、反対側にあるグリルでハンバーガーを焼いていたお父さんだが、この新しいグリルには全然気付きもしなかった。周りの細かいことには気にも掛けないのがお父さんなのよね。

30th birthday cake.

３０歳をお祝いするケーキ。

今度は、ワゴンに乗ってディランに引っ張ってもらうの。

I get what I want, when I want, from anybody.

欲しい物はおねだり次第で私の物。

Coney Island

This may be the best time of my life, anytime at the pool.

プールで遊んでいる時が一番幸せの私。

All I really did was walk around in the water, but it was a blast.

お水の中を歩いていたのがほとんどだったけど、楽しかったよ。

I splashed mommy also, that was fun.

お母さんにお水攻撃～。

This is the "not ready to go home yet look," cause daddy mentioned it was time to go.

お父さんに、そろそろお家に帰る時間だと言われ、『まだお家に帰りたくないよ～ォ。』の態度を示しているティアラ華蓮。

Tiara's First Haircut

This was my first haircut. I was a little nervous at first until the nice lady put the Curious George movie on, then I was okay.

私の初めてのヘアカット。最初は少し緊張していたんだけど、優しいお姉さんがおさるのジョージのビデオを流してくれたので、大丈夫だったよ。

Out On The Boat

Went to the lake and rented a paddle boat. It was very hot that day, we all had a pretty good sweat.

湖に行って、ペダルボートを借りたんだ。でも、その日はとても暑くて、汗をかきながら漕いでいたお父さんとお母さん。

Tiara just enjoyed the scenery, animals, ate our snacks and drank our XS.

おやつ、飲み物、動物達、そして景色を只単に楽しんでいたティアラ華蓮。

Butterfly Show

This years theme for the butterfly show was Butterflies of Japan, we were all excited to see it.

『日本』がテーマの今年の蝶々展。皆、凄く楽しみにして見に行ったんだ。

Tiara was scared of the butterflies, she didn't let go of us. Funny though, when they would come near us she would say, "They're not going to hurt you." But then when they would land on her she would start crying, priceless.

蝶々を恐がって抱っこされっぱなしのティアラ華蓮。でもおかしいのが、蝶々が近寄ってくる度に、『蝶々は誰も傷つけたりしないよ。』と言う割には、実際に蝶々が少しでも触るとすぐに泣き出していた彼女。

Because she was so scared of the butterflies it was impossible for her to pose for a picture. It wasn't until we left the observatory that she became herself sanguine self again and posed.

蝶々が恐かった為、写真撮影にも応じてくれなかったティアラ華蓮。蝶々園を出次第、自分を取り戻し、再びいつものお茶目さを出してくれた彼女。

Getting Together with Tyler

We got invited to see Tyler's new house.

タイラーの新しいお家に招待されたんだ。

After supper having a movie night with Tyler in his tent...

お食事の後、タイラーのテントにて映画会・・・・

...and some popcorn.

・・・・そしてポップコーンも忘れずにね。

Because we were watching UFC, Tyler wanted to fight like on TV. So he took his shirt off and started to fight and Tiara had to do the same.

皆でＵＦＣを見ていたので、本物のファイターのようにシャツを脱ぎ、戦い始めたタイラー。もちろん、ティアラ華蓮も同じことをしなきゃ気が済まないんだよね。笑
